Theodore M. Zambetti and Violetta Zambetti bought a four-bedroom, four-bath home at 96 Franklin Ave. in Yonkers from Richard Chapin for $550,000 on Oct. 15.

The 2,230-square-foot house was built in 1921 in the Yonkers Southwest neighborhood.

Mr. Zambetti is executive producer and in-house composer at Sirius Satellite Radio in New York.

He previously was music director at The Grounding Theatre in Los Angeles and has worked with The Flying Burrito Bros., Jackson Browne and Lionel Hampton.

He received his bachelor's degree in psychology from the Loyola School in Manhattan.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 623 home sales in Yonkers during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $420,000.
