Former Bear Stearns analyst buys Scarsdale 5BD

Medium 4961f3c9b21467cdb21b7dede88e3c56 Albert I. Sipzener bought a five-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 40 Ogden Road in Scarsdale from Arthur Brunwasser and Michelle Brunwasser for $995,000 on Oct. 13.

The 2,850-square-foot house was built in 1953.

Sipzener is a partner and portfolio manager at Shikiar Asset Management Inc.

He previously was a research analyst at Bear Stearns & Co for two years. He began his research career in 1993 as an investment banking analyst in Lehman Brothers' Debt Capital Markets group.

He received his B.A. in biology and mathematics from Brown University and graduated from Columbia Business School.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 150 home sales in Scarsdale during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $1.185 million.
