Architectural associate buys 4BD in Scarsdale for $1.15M

Medium 4cba3f4a2aaa49f096684e1342ac0c53 Judith P. Schiamberg and Scott R. Schiamberg bought a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 19 Elm Road in Scarsdale from Kenneth L. Mazer for $1.15 million on Sept. 28.

The 2,630-square-foot house was built in 1925.

Mr. Schiamberg is a senior associate at Perkins+Will, an architectural firm established in Chicago in 1935.

He received his degree in architecture and urban planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Ms. Schiamberg is a fellow of The New Teacher Project at Education Pioneers in New York City.

She previously was a grade school teacher at Dickison Elementary School, Boston Renaissance Charter School and Reisenbach Charter School.

She received an M.P.A. from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government.

Mr. Mazer is vice president at Global Textile Partners.

He previously was vice president at Lee Fashion Fabrics Inc.

He received an M.B.A. from New York University and a B.A. in political science from the University of Vermont.

According to, there have been 150 home sales in Scarsdale during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $1.185 million.
