Banker, social worker buy 3BD in Yorktown East

Medium 5dc405cdc6cd9a2a11556aebda2619c3 Brian R. Scesney and bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 2632 Springhurst St. in Yorktown from John M. Gridley and Rosemary Gridley for $459,000 on Oct. 19.

The 1,800-square-foot house was built in 1964 in the Yorktown East neighborhood.

Mr. Scesney is a credit banker at JPMorgan Chase in New York.

He previously was assistant vice president and credit manager in the commercial real estate lending division of Washington Mutual. Before he joined WaMu in 2002, he worked at The Dime Savings Bank of New York, first in internal audit and later in credit administration.

He graduated from Binghamton University School of Management in 1996.

Ms. Scesney is a clinical social worker at New York Presbyterian Hospital.

She also has worked at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

She received a B.S. in human development from Binghamton University in 1998.
