Aviation specialist buys in Tenaya Farms

Sidney Harriel and Diane Harriel bought a four-bedroom, 4.5-bath at 7400 Bachelors Button Dr. in Las Vegas from FDIC and IndyMac Federal Bank, FSB for $400,000 on Jan. 9.

IndyMac Federal Bank, FSB foreclosed on the property in Oct. 2008. The 6,337-square-foot, two-story house was built in 2002 in the Tenaya Farms neighborhood.

Mr. Harriel is an airline and aviation consultant at Harriel Enterprises in Dallas, Texas. He formerly served as a pilot with the United States Air Force.

He received his B.S. in industrial administration from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (1975) and his M.B.A. in leadership and management from Golden Gate University ('86).

There were 17,920 home sales in Las Vegas in 2008, with a median sales price of $205,000.
