White collar crime lawyer snags 4BD in Chevy Chase

Medium fd1d90ca941e05c4b3ece7a1de4dd979 Marissa A. Jacobson and William B. Jacobson bought a four-bedroom, five-bath home at 6234 33rd St. N.W. in Washington from Julian W. Waits Sr. and Tahirah S. Waits for $1.450 million on Sept. 16.

The 3,818-square-foot house in the Chevy Chase neighborhood was built in 1953.

Mr. Jacobson is a partner at Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. His practice focuses on white collar crime and the foreign corrupt practices act.

He previously was the assistant chief of FCPA enforcement at the fraud section in the criminal division for U.S. Department of Justice. He also was a trial attorney at the Department of Justice and an assistant distric attorney in New York.

He received his B.A. from Tufts University and J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 4,143 sales in Washington in 2008, with a median sales price of $375,000.
