Commercial lawyer grabs 4BD in American University Park

Medium 0a4cda229c47c1284364abc1a97e6947 Susanna Chu and Ariel David Adesnik bought a four-bedroom, two-bath home at 4600 45th St. N.W. in Washington from Ramon J. Boshara and Lora L. Iannotti for $925,000 on Sept. 17.

The 1,490-square-foot house in the American University Park neighborhood was built in 1936.

Chu is an associate at Kaye Scholer. She focuses on general commercial litigation and intellectual property litigation.

She previously was a legal intern in the criminal division of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York. She also was an investigative analyst at the Office of the Special Commissioner of Investigation for the New York City School District.

She received her J.D. from the New York University School of Law.

Adesnik was director of the democratization program at The Nathan Hale Foreign Policy Society.

He previously was a researcher at the Institute for Defense Analyses and part of the foreign policy and national security staff for Sen. John McCain's presidential campaign.

He received his B.A. from Yale University and his master's degree in philosophy and Ph.D. from Magdalen College.

According to, there were 4,143 sales in Washington in 2008, with a median sales price of $375,000.
