Lawyer sells Washington 4BD for $1.2M

Medium f9281c3fcdcb2e749a3fcd69cc7c07e2 Barbara G. McIntosh and Michael A. McIntosh sold a four-bedroom, four-bath home at 832 D St. S.E. in Washington to Mary Lynn Qurnell and Roger Tauss for $1.2 million on Sept. 11.

The McIntosh bought the property for $1.225 million in April 2005. The 2,523-square-foot house was built in 1900 in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.

Ms. McIntosh is general counsel for The Boat Co.

Previously, she was general counsel for The League of Conservation Voters Inc., a bipartisan organization representing more than nine million members of national environmental groups.

She received her B.A. and J.D. from Pace University.

Qurnell is an independent non-profit organization management professional in Washington D.C.

Previously, she was a legislative assistant with the U.S. Senate as well as a congressional liaison for the Department of Homeland Security's Immigration & Customs Enforcement.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 4,143 home sales in Washington in 2008, with a median sales price of $375,000.
