<i>Science</i> magazine editor scores in Anacostia

Medium 6986e755e6283decddd20186e56f9b90 Ian Osbourne and Sonya Flowers bought a four-bedroom, 4.5-bath townhome at 2107 15th St. S.E. in Washington from Edna F. Farmer for $255,000 on Sept. 23.

The 1,500-square-foot townhouse was built in 1996 in the Anacostia neighborhood.

Mr. Osborne has been a senior editor at Science magazine. He also has been a senior director at American Association for the Advancement of Science.

He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Dundee.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 4,155 home sales in Washington in 2008, with a median sales price of $375,000.
