Matthew R. Zaft and Erin R. Chlopak sold a three-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 725 G St. N.E. in Washington to Beverly A. Pritchett for $760,000 on Aug. 31.

Zaft and Chlopak paid $807,500 for the property in May 2005. The 1,420-square-foot house was built in 1910 in the Near Northeast neighborhood.

Zaft is vice president, wealth management advisor and personal investment adviser of the Moy/Zaft Group at Merrill Lynch.

He holds a B.A. in economics and sociology from Johns Hopkins University.

Chlopak is an attorney at Federal Election Commission and previously an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.

She received a B.A. in international relations and Latin American Studies from The Johns Hopkins University and a J.D. from the American University's Washington College of Law.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 4,143 sales in Washington in 2008, with a median sales price of $375,000.
