Environmentalist acquires 3BD in Washington

Medium f2afd694a3b53c562cc5d456c28a955f Caryn R. Muellerleile bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 1119 W. Virginia Ave. N.E. in Washington from Matthew K. Nelson and Elizabeth Thompson Nelson for $233,000 on Sept. 24.

The 1,332-square-foot house was built in 1935 in the Trinidad neighborhood.

Muellerleile is an environmental protection specialist at the Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Policy, Economics and Innovation.

She previously was a graduate assistant at the Inner Asian and Uralic National Resource Center.

She completed bachelor's degree in anthropology at Macalester College and attended Indiana University–Bloomington.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 4,155 home sales in Washington in 2008, with a median sales price of $375,000.
