HIV, AIDS administration exec spends in 16th Street Heights

Medium c4422b5009933dfd2668a14bc9d82ec0 Dr. Shannon L. Hader bought a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 1332 Farragut St. N.W. in Washington from Keith E. Griffin for $715,000 on Sept. 24.

Griffin paid $374,900 for the property in Feb. 2006. The 1,857-square-foot house was built in 1923 in the 16th Street Heights neighborhood.

Dr. Hader is an infectious disease specialist. She has been the director of the D.C. HIV/AIDS Administration since 2007.

She received an M.D. from Columbia University and trained in internal medicine and pediatrics at the Duke University Medical School and in infectious diseases at Emory University Hospitals.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 4,155 home sales in Washington in 2008, with a median sales price of $375,000.
