Non-profit org. coordinator gets Garfield Heights 3BD

Medium 00882fa886661ef941f8d095341a019e Chelsy Briggs bought a three-bedroom, three-bath home at 2804 Jasper St. S.E. in Washington from Deutsche Bank National Trust Co. for $225,000 on Sept. 28.

The bank foreclosed the property in Nov. 2008. The 1,200-square-foot house was built in 2000 in the Garfield Heights neighborhood.

Briggs is a benefits coordinator at Folger Shakespeare Library, a home for the world's largest and finest collection of Shakespeare materials.

She previously served as human resource assistant at Paralyzed Veterans of America.

She completed a bachelor's degree in management information systems at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and attended The Catholic University of America for a master's degree in human resource management.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 4,155 home sales in Washington in 2008, with a median sales price of $375,000.
