Law firm partner trades 3BD in NoMa

Medium 5da3fd257573d88e6ed08f0ceb9f4ff2 Hugh J. Beins and Eula Mae Cleveland sold a three-bedroom, one-bath home at 1146 First St. N.W. in Washington to Randy Alan McKevitt for $249,000 on Sept. 28.

The 1,057-square-foot house was built in 1994 in the NoMa neighborhood.

Beins is a founding partner of the law firm Beins, Axelrod P.C. His practice focuses on the areas of collective bargaining, labor, internal union affairs and litigation.

He previously was an adjunct professor of labor law at the Georgetown University Law Center prior to founding the law firm.

He completed a bachelor's degree at Georgetown University and received his LL.B from the Georgetown University Law Center.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 4,155 home sales in Washington in 2008, with a median sales price of $375,000.
