Senator's communications officer acquires Chevy Chase 3BD

Medium 1540739aba1e6a3c4584a30d7a169fb3 Alex and Susan Formuzis bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 6225 30th St. N.W. in Washington from Earl W. Comstock and Alexa Aulie for $549,900 on Sept. 4.

The 1,417-square-foot house was built in 1933 in the Chevy Chase neighborhood.

Mr. Formuzis is a director of communications for U.S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg.

He attended the University of Montana.

Comstock is a chief executive officer at Comstock Consulting.

He previously was president and chief executive officer at COMPTEL.

He attended the George Mason University School of Law.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 4,155 home sales in Washington in 2008, with a median sales price of $375,000.
