Research, policy organization executives buy Edgewood 4BD

Medium 2513dc0dd5f9dd96d772dea2dc811faa Reginald D. Williams and Taryn Mackenzie Tyler Williams bought a four-bedroom, two-bath home at 316 Channing St. N.E. in Washington, D.C. from Elizabeth and Glenn VanDerWoude for $425,000 on Oct. 7.

The 1,932-square-foot house was built in 1905 in the neighborhood of Edgewood.

Mr. Williams is a manager of a health care policy consulting group at Avalere Health, a research organization in Washington.

He graduated from Brown University.

Ms. Williams is the research coordinator for leadership programs at the Institute for Educational Leadership, a nonprofit research and policy organization.

She graduated from Brown University and received a master's degree in education administration, policy and social planning from Harvard.

The Williamses were married in Oct. 2008.

Ms. VanDerWoude is the director of project planning and management at The Henry L. Stimson Center, a non-profit, non-partisan institution devoted to enhancing international peace and security.
