Realtor, lobbyist settle in 2BD in Capitol Hill East

Medium a277733b853c5848134846906576faed Jessica Wilkie and Rishi Hingoraney bought a two-bedroom, 1.5-bath townhome at 1442 East St. S.E. in Washington, D.C. from the estate of Wayne M. Nesbitt for $524,000 on Oct. 19.

The 1,488-square-foot townhouse was built in 1910 in the Capitol Hill East neighborhood.

Wilkie is a realtor and home-buying specialist with Long & Foster Real Estate in D.C.

She previously was a settlement processor at Regional Title Inc. and an escrow account manager at Realty Title Services.

She received a B.A. in international affairs in 1998 from Mary Washington College.

Hingoraney is director for government relations at the Association of Public Television Stations.

He joined APTS in 2006 as a Congressional liaison and was promoted to his current position earlier in July. Prior to APTS, he was a managing principal at American PressWorks Inc., where he represented media clients on state and federal legislative issues.

He holds a bachelor's in political science from Vanderbilt University and a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law.

Wilkie and Hingoraney were married in 2008 in Chevy Chase, Md.
