Professor, law firm associate leave Tenleytown

Medium 064ee86891c3d39bf399cea851b6b150 Dr. Nilofer S. Azad and Ezra W. Reese sold a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 4313 Brandywine St. N.W. in Washington, D.C. to John Noah Schenendorf and Eleni P. Yeatras for $825,000 on Sept. 20.

Azad and Reese paid $825,000 for the property in May 2007. The 1,712-square-foot house was built in 1925 in the Tenleytown neighborhood.

Dr. Azad has been an assistant professor of oncology at John Hopkins Medicine.

She completed her M.D. from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where she also completed her residency, and attended the National Cancer Institute for her fellowship.

Reese is an associate at Perkins Coie. His practice focuses on political law and nonprofit tax law.

He previously was a summer associate at Verner Liipfert Bernhard McPherson & Hand, and Steptoe & Johnson. In addition to that, he worked for Judge Sandra Lynch on the U.S. Court of Appeals First Circuit.

He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his A.B. in philosophy from Harvard University.
