Timothy Joseph Klima sold a two-bedroom, two-bath home at 2900 Kanawha St. N.W. in Washington, D.C. to Kenneth Harrison Shannon, Jr., and Milena Lefterova Shannon for $700,000 on Sept. 30.

The 1,389-square-foot house was built in 1950 in the Chevy Chase neighborhood.

Klima is an attorney in the intellectual property group at Shuttleworth & Ingersoll PLC.

Prior to joining Shuttleworth, he was a partner at Pillsbury Winthrop LLP, and before that worked with Cushman Darby & Cushman LLP.

He received a B.S. in engineering from Iowa State University and his J.D. from the University of Iowa School of Law. He also received an M.B.A. from the University of Iowa.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 4,187 sales in Washington, D.C. during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $370,224.
