Elliot and Randi Liffman sold a five-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 9909 Fleming Ave. in Bethesda to Amy Lynn Rubinstein and Aaron John Lion for $750,000 on Oct. 2.

The Liffmans paid $415,000 for the property in Feb. 2002. The 1,872-square-foot house was built in 1971 in the Bethesda North of Wilson Lane neighborhood.

Mr. Liffman is a principal at Diversified Realty Ventures LLC, a privately-held real estate investment firm. His responsibilities include the analysis, underwriting, due diligence, financing and management of the firm's real estate assets. He was the co-founder of Realty Capital Co., DRV's predecessor, and a consultant with Charles E. Smith Commercial Realty.

He earned his bachelor's degree in economics from Emory University and his M.B.A. from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 769 home sales in Bethesda during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $719,000.
