Alan and Beth Ranzer sold a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 5226 Pooks Hills Road in Bethesda to Lorena Deoca and Rodrigo Salas for $530,000 on Oct. 19.

The Ranzers paid $510,000 for the property in Nov. 2004. The 2,449-square-foot house was built in 1972 in the Bethesda North of Wilson Lane neighborhood.

Mr. Ranzer is a managing partner and co-founder of Impact 4 Good, a company specializing in team building initiatives. He has also worked for several domestic and international non-profit organizations specializing in community service.

He earned his M.A. in international development from American University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 769 home sales in Bethesda during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $719,000.
