Choir leader buys Bethesda 4BD

Medium 749482ad50ac8d0fe3853578c4ae9b0e Helen Leneman and Susan Lieberman bought a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 6202 Leeke Forest Court in Bethesda from Rosser and Micale Maddox for $775,000 on Oct. 19.

The Maddox paid $497,000 for the property in July 2000. The 2,321-square-foot house was built in 1972 in the Bethesda North of Wilson Lane neighborhood.

Leneman is a singer who has served Jewish congregations in California, Ohio, Maryland and Washington, D.C. She also sings with the Washington Opera Chorus at the Kennedy Center, the Washington Concert Opera Chorus and the Wolf Trap Opera Co. Chorus.

She received her M.A. in Judaic studies at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 769 home sales in Bethesda during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $719,000.
