Real estate lawyer sells in Kemp Mill

Medium 50df63fecf6d1814b3f7a3fa4bb81035 Benjamin and Ariella Orlofsky sold a two-bath home at 706 Hyde Road in Kemp Mill to Yukari and Michael Weisman for $400,000 on Oct. 19.

The Orlofskys paid $445,000 for the property in Oct. 2005. The 1,800-square-foot house was built in 1959 in the Wheaton-Glenmont East of Georgia Ave. neighborhood.

Mr. Orlofsky is the managing director and in-house counsel at the Orlo Fund, a private real estate investment company. Prior to that, he was the co-chair of the New York State Bar Associations committee on state court counsel, a law assistant at the commercial division of the New York County Supreme Court and he worked for a general practice law firm specializing in real estate deals.

He earned his law degree from the Brooklyn Law School.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 92 home sales in Kemp Mill during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $360,000.
