Dairy association VP sells Potomac 5BD for $1M

Medium 3534b7d2e54da63c60527b0ac9bcfbfb Clayton L. Hough and Pamela Powers sold a five-bedroom, 4.5-bath home at 9220 Farnsworth Dr. in Potomac to Laura and Curtis O'Keefe for $1 million on Oct. 19.

Hough and Powers paid $455,000 for the property in Dec. 1999. The 2,820-square-foot house was built in 1962 in the Potomac South of Democracy Blvd. neighborhood.

Hough is the senior group vice president and general counsel at International Dairy Foods Association, an organization representing America's dairy manufacturing and marketing industries and their suppliers. He oversees IDFA's international trade, regulatory and scientific affairs and he manages the association's legal affairs. Prior to that, he was an associate and partner at Patton Boggs LLP where his practice focused on commodity and trade policy.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 418 home sales in Potomac during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $770,000.
