Philip and Mary McNutt sold a 2.5-bath home at 13700 Turnmore Road in Glenmont to Joan and Bradford Kaufman for $563.000 on Oct. 15.

The 2,696-square-foot house was built in 1983 in the Wheaton-Glenmont East of Georgia Ave. neighborhood.

Mr. McNutt is a managing partner at Hughes & Bentzen PLLC and an expert in bankruptcy and insolvency law. Previously, he served as the chairman of the bankruptcy and commercial law and banking sections of the Montgomery County Bar Association.

He received his B.A in history from LeMoyne College and his J.D. from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 797 sales in Glenmont during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $279,900.
