Gregg S. Avitabile and Isil Mengi bought a three-bedroom, three-bath home at 7007 Radnor Road in Bethesda from Stephane and Jandira Legros for $799,900 on Oct. 16.

The Legros paid $580,000 for the property in April 2004. The 1,763-square-foot house was built in 1953 in the Bethesda South of Wilson Lane neighborhood.

Avitabile is chief counsel to the chairman at Merit Systems Protection Board.

He attended the George Washington University Law School.

Mengi is a video editor at Voice of America.

Mengi attended American University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 911 sales in Bethesda during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $719,900.
