Estate of lawyer unloads Kent 4BD for $1.311M

Medium ea0e49a9f7f34bdb88aecad43e2d4382 The Estate of Henry P. Sailer and Randolph C. Sailer sold a four-bedroom, 4.5-bath home at 3111 Chain Bridge Road N.W. in Kent to Amin F. Abari and Mehrnaz Teymourian for $1,311,100 on Aug. 25.

The 3,629-square-foot home was built in 1930.

Henry P. Sailer was a partner in the Washington law firm Covington & Burling, where he practiced antitrust law.

He attended Deerfield Academy and graduated from Princeton University. He received his law degree from Harvard University in 1954.

He died on July 17.

Abari and Teymourian also own a condo at 4201 Cathedral Ave. N.W. in Wesley Heights. They paid $95,000 for the property in Aug. 2000.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 19 home sales in Kent during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $1,334,500.
