Jane Stanton Hitchcock and Jimmie L. Hoagland sold their three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 3308 Cathedral Ave. N.W. in Woodley Park from Cathave LLC for $900,000 on Nov. 1.
The 1,927-square-foot house was built in 1924 in the Woodland-Normastone Terrance subdivision.
Hitchcock is a New York Times best-selling author of Mortal Friends, Trick of the Eye, The Witches' Hammer, Social Crimes and One Dangerous Lady. She is also a playwright and a screenwriter.
Hoagland is a two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist. He is an associate editor, senior foreign correspondent, and columnist working for The Washington Post.
He graduated from the University of South Carolina, the University of Aix-en-Provence in France and Columbia University in New York.
