The 1,464-square-foot house was built in 1907 and is located in the Capitol Hill Historic District.

Mr. Lin is an associate in the innovation practice at Booz & Company, a global management consulting firm. Previously, he worked for CL Consulting and at Oclaro, Inc. He also held various positions at Avanex Corp. including director, manager and senior optical engineer.

He earned his B.S. in electrical engineering and economics and his master's in English from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He obtained his M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at the University of California Berkeley.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 71 home sales in Capitol Hill during the last 12 months, with a median sales price of $727,500.
