Portfolio manager, math coach sell in Barnaby Woods

Medium ab64adbfff5253c0a057a12a484d7c73 Noah E. Wepman and Deborah P. Wepman sold a three-bedroom, three-bath home at 6508 Barnaby St. N.W. in Barnaby Woods to Ronald N. Capps and Carole L. Florman for $850,000 on Nov. 4.

The Wepmans paid $787,500 for the property in Nov. 2007. The 1,875-square-foot house was built in 1938.

Mr. Wepman is a portfolio manager at Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Previously, he served as president at NEW Education Advisors and as chief financial officer at District of Columbia Public Schools.

He studied at The George Washington University and Colby College.

Ms. Wepman is a former math coach at Arlington Public Schools and literacy coach at District of Columbia Public Schools.

She attended the University of Vermont and received her M.A. from George Mason University in 2004.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 19 home sales in Barnaby Woods during the last 12 months, with a median sales price of $875,000.
