Exec. adviser sells Dupont Circle 4BD for $1.699M

Medium 2bea6cba0dd355d1781b048c4770e36e Robert T. Murphy and Frederick W. Steckler sold a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 1731 Riggs Place N.W. in Dupont Circle to Ssi International Corp. for $1.699 million on Nov. 12.

Robert T. Murphy and Frederick W. Steckler acquired the home for $1.15 million in Dec. 2004.
The 2,637-square-foot house was built in 1912. It is located in the Dupont Circle Historic District.

Steckler works as an executive adviser at Booz Allen Hamilton. Previously, he worked with Watson Wyatt Worldwide as a senior consultant, in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as general deputy assistant secretary and at IBM Global Services as the national recruiting executive.

He graduated from Duke University and earned his M.B.A. from The George Washington University - School of Business.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 40 home sales in Dupont Circle during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $747,500.
