Nonprofit director settles in Capitol Hill North

Dilara Sommerville and Patrick Sommerville bought a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home from Laura L. Mealy and Laura L. Rager at 667 F. St. N.E. in Capitol Hill North for $835,000 on Nov. 16.

The 2,138-square-foot house was built in 1914. It is located in the Capitol Hill Historic District.

Mr. Sommerville is the senior director of economic development at Counterpart International, a nonprofit organization headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. Prior to this, he worked as a consultant at International Rescue Committee, DAI, Mercy Corps and CHF International.

He earned a degree in political science from the the University of Wisconsin-Madison and M.P.A in international management from New York University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 136 home sales in Capitol Hill North during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $577,000.
