Emma Gilbey Keller bought a five-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 141 Little Plains Road in Southampton from Patricia A. Kennedy and Robert W. Kennedy, Sr., for $2 million on Sept. 17.

The 3,080-square-foot house was built in 1991 in the Southampton East neighborhood.

Keller is a novelist and the author of The Comeback.

Keller also is the author of Lady: The Life and Times of Winnie Mandela. She also has written for The London Sunday Times, The London Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, Marie Claire, More Magazine, Vanity Fair and Tatler among others.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 62 home sales in Southampton in the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $1,290,143.
