Global affairs professor buys in Hampton Bays

Medium c239102972646f1a61f048deecb2769b Christian Michael Soussan bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 2 Trynz Lane in Hampton Bays from Jay Broder for $617,000 on Sept. 9.

Broder paid $400,000 for the property in Dec. 2007. The 2,074-square-foot home was built in 1995 in the Shinnecock Bayside neighborhood.

Soussan is an adjunct assistant professor in the global affairs department at the New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies.

He most recently was a program coordinator for the United Nations. Before that, he was an international research analyst at Preston Gates. He also worked as a news desk assistant at CNN.

He has a B.A. in international relations from Brown University and an M.A. in international relations from Sciences-Po. He also holds a certificate in film directing from the New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 96 sales in Hampton Bays in 2008, with a median sales price of $397,500.
