The Slavins paid $810,000 for the property in Sept. 2005. The 3,022-square-foot home was built in 2004 in the Smithtown North neighborhood.

Dr. Slavin is an anesthesiologist at Tyler Memorial Hospital in East Northport.

He received his M.D. from the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine at the City University of New York. He completed his residency in anesthesiology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 131 sales in Smithtown in 2008, with a median sales price of $464,500.
