New York tourism co. CEO acquires 5BD home for $4.365M

Medium 6454bb8da048446b2a41177ffd2c7069 George Fertitta and wife, Naomi bought a five-bedroom, 5.5-bath home at 24 Baiting Hollow Road in East Hampton from Eric Ellenbogen for $4.365 million on Sept. 18.

Ellenbogen acquired the property for $3.175 million in June 2005. The 4,000-square-foot house is in East Hampton West neighborhood.

Mr. Fertitta is the CEO of NYC & Co., operating as the official marketing and tourism company of New York.

Prior to this, he co-founded an advertising agency, Margeotes/Fertitta and Partners, which had worked for Godiva, Hearst, McGraw-Hill, Campbell Soup, Disney and Coca-Cola.

He graduated from Tulane University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 25 sales in East Hampton in 2008, with a median price of $2,150,000.
