Transportation company CEO gets Wildwood 5BD

Medium d9b60cc55fc36fe39e535a3bd94ce995 Patrick G. Baehler and his wife, Mary, bought a five-bedroom, four-bath home at 1362 Wildhorse Parkway Dr. in Wildwood from Herbert A. Larsen and his wife, Carolyn, for $550,500 on Sept. 22.

The Larsens paid $575,000 for the property in July 1999. The 2,948-square-foot home in the Wild Horse Village subdivision was built in 1993.

Baehler is the chief executive officer of UniGroup Inc., the parent company of United VanLines and Mayflower Transit. He joined the company in 1981 as a sales representative. Prior to his career at UniGroup, he worked at Ryder Truck Rental.

He graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor's degree in business. He also holds an M.B.A. in management from Webster University.

Mr. Larsen has served as vice president of North American sales at Alusuisse Composites Inc. in St. Louis. He joined the company in Nov. 1998.

He has a B.S. degree in general engineering from Idaho State University.

According to, there were 419 sales in Wildwood in 2008, with a median sales price of $315,000.
