Chris Freund and his wife, April, bought a four-bedroom, two-bath home at 406 Baker Ave. in Webster Groves from Ruth Emma Dubose for $285,000 on Sept. 18.

The 3,083-square-foot house in the Sherwood Forest subdivision was built in 1925.

Mr. Freund is the chief technology officer at Global Vision Technologies Inc., a web-based information management solutions provider for human services agencies and pharmaceutical organizations. Additionally, he serves as the chief architect for the company's software platform, Visions Foundation Server.

He attended Missouri Technical University and Washington University.

Mrs. Freund is the president and chief executive officer at Global Vision Technologies Inc. She has been working in the financial and IT sectors for more than two decades.

She received her B.A. in journalism with minor in business and speech communications from the University of Georgia.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 508 home sales in Webster Grove in 2008, with a median sales price of $210,000.
