Dr. Howard Jeng Huang bought a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 1281 Lay Road in Ladue from Chad and Rhonda Mueller for $466,250 on Oct. 5.

The 2,067-square-foot house in the Ladue North neighborhood was built in 1936.

Dr. Huang is an intensive care unit physician at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield. He is also an instructor of pulmonary and critical care medicine at the Washington University School School of Medicine.

He earned his M.D. in 2000 from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and trained in internal medicine at the Southwestern Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine in 2007 at the Washington University School of Medicine.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 136 home sales in Ladue in 2008, with a median sales price of $520,000.
