Genetics professor sells 3BD in Webster Groves

Medium 48d55b6f0eee3300c9a7a4ad14721f7a Tanya Wolff sold a three-bedroom, 1.5-bath home at 671 Elmwood Ave. in Webster Groves to Jason J. Nowak and Su Ho Wen for $250,000 on Oct. 9.

Wolff paid $222,500 for the property in July 2001. The 1,695-square-foot house in the Old Orchard Park subdivision was built in 1908.

Wolff is an assistant professor in the genetics department at the Washington University School of Medicine.

Nowak currently serves as the regional manager in the St. Louis division of Bastian Material Handling, an automation and software solutions provider. Prior to his current position, he was the company's project manager and he worked for Pohlman Inc. and Heckethorn Manufacturing as a manufacturing engineer.

He attended the University of Missouri-Rolla and is currently pursuing his M.B.A. at Webster University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 508 home sales in Webster Groves during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $210,000.
