Sharad Sathe and his wife, Usha, bought a three-bedroom, three-bath home at 14608 Kendall Ridge Drive in Chesterfield from Mayer Manors Inc. for $486,220 on Dec. 4.

The 2,667-square-foot house was built in 2007 in Villages at Kendall Bluff subdivision in North of 64.

Mr. Sathe has been teaching tabla, a percussion instrument, for several years. He is also a chemist and has worked for Mallinckrodt, where he was technical director for process chemistry and technology.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 617 home sales in Chesterfield during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $303,500.
