Drilling company exec settles in West Houston 3BD

Medium d0a49b35ab4e91f78fd10603b44ba14d Michiel de Rijk and Karen Wallace acquired a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 5215 Cairnleigh Drive in West Houston from the U.S. Department Housing and Urban Development on Nov. 11.

The 1,768-square-foot house was built in 1977 in the Glencairn subdivision. It is valued at $96,937.

Mr. de Rijk is the vice president of TerraVici Drilling Solutions, an independent directional services company located in Houston. Previously, he worked as a well engineer at Halliburton Integrated Solutions and as a drilling engineer at Noble Drilling.

He holds a master's degree in petroleum engineering from the Delft University of Technology. He also holds an M.B.A. from Rice University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 2,706 home sales in West Houston during the past 12 months.
