Humanities professor grabs Woodland Heights Annex 2BD

Medium 90cb5e87bc19e44fd80f4027bfb1a6d7 Stephen A. Mendonca acquired a two-bedroom, two-bath home at 726 Redan St. in Greater Heights from Julia Nguyen on Nov. 22.

Nguyen acquired the 1,578-square-foot home in the Woodland Heights Annex subdivision from Arch Bay Holdings LLC. It was built in 1920 and is valued at $287,999.

Mr. Mendonca is an instructor for the Lone Star College System as well as a professor of humanities and literature at Devry University and Belhaven College. He also teaches rhetoric and communications at the University of Phoenix and is an industry consultant and owner at MarketQuest International. He previously served as a communications and humanities division chair at Nova Southeastern University.

He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in English from Marquette University.
