Communication specialist acquires 5BD in Memorial

Medium 83d7f0e334d5f942f3bec43ec059d92d Darla and William Baerg acquired a five-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 347 Cinnamon Oak Lane in Memorial from Barbara Reeber, Della Longa and Patricia Reeber Stein on Nov. 24.

The 2,854-square-foot home in Rustling Pines, which was built in 1961, is valued at $447,037.

Ms. Baerg is a communication specialist and a regular speaker at women's retreats and seminars. She is currently an adjunct faculty member in the communication department at Houston Baptist University. She previously served as chief of staff for a United States Congressman and as director of training for a company.

She has a communication specialist degree, a master's degree in communication and a master's degree in human resource development from Baylor University, University of North Texas and Vanderbuilt University, respectively.

Mr. Baerg is manager of investor relations at El Paso Corporation, a provider of natural gas and related energy products headquartered in Downtown Houston. He previously served El Paso Corporation as a corporate finance manager. Previously, he worked in industry affairs and strategic planning at Tenneco.

Earlier on, he was a field sales representative at ING.

He graduated from Baylor University and went on to complete an M.B.A. at the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
