Sea vessel manager settles in West Houston 3BD

Medium 9058767a14860316028c7a1ceaac3580 Pablo Arango acquired a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 5618 E. Towerglen Loop in West Houston from the U.S. Department Housing and Urban Development on Dec. 7.

The 2,486-square-foot house was built in 1991 in the Charlestown Colony subdivision. It is valued at $133,954.

Mr. Arango serves as a sales manager at Dockwise, an operator of the largest fleet of specialized vessels in the world. He formerly worked as a design engineer at Trelleborg Offshore and as a project engineer at Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget SCA.

He earned his mechanical engineering degree from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and an M.B.A. in general management from the University of Texas Red McCombs School of Business.

Arango acquired a home at 2338 Jackson St. in Midtown from Camilo Management LLC and Parra Design Group in Sept. 2007.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 2,120 home sales in West Houston during the past 12 months.
