Widow of renowned L.A. Times ad exec sells to attorney in Pasadena

Betty Lee Stickell and David S. Aikenhead sold a two-bedroom, three bath at 211 South Orange Grove Boulevard in Pasadena for $1.05 million to Harry B. Fike and Verginia B. Fike on February 29.

The 2,311-square-foot Unit #8 was built in 1975.

Stickell chairs the Vance L. Stickell Memorial Student Internship Program, which was named in honor of her late husband, Vance Stickell, a highly regarded advertising executive in the newspaper industry.

Aikenhead is a partner at the law firm of Aikenhead, Cipes & Supanich in Los Angeles. His practice focuses on business and commercial law, as well as elder, employment and taxation law.

The Michigan native received his bachelor's in political science from Bucknell University and his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1971.
