Kourosh Bakhtiar, Jody Meller and Nancy Jane Meller bought the three-bedroom, two-bath home at 2211 Prosser Ave. in L.A.'s Rancho Park from Kurt and Susan Bowerman for $1.17 million on Sept. 29.

The Bowermans bought the 1,748-square-foot house for $365,000 in May 1997. It was built in 1929.

Bakhtiar and Jody Meller co-founded KJ Clothing, an L.A.-based luxury brand they launched in 2003.

Bakhtiar attended the University of Santa Monica and the University of Southern California.

There have been 24,839 home sales in Los Angeles in 2008, with median sales price of $443,000.
