Deepwater drilling co. director selling in The Woodlands

Keith and Laura Millheim have listed for sale a four-bedroom, 4.5-bath at 62 Thistle Wind Ct. in The Woodlands for $849,000.

Cheryle Sanderson of Prudential Gary Greene, Realtors is the listing agent. Mr. Millheim acquired the property from G Building Inc. in Feb. 2001. The 4,108-square-foot home in Village of Indian Springs was built in 2000.

Mr. Millheim is a managing director at Nautilus International LLC, a provider of solutions that reduce the cost of drilling, completing and producing deep water offshore wells. The company is headquartered in The Woodlands. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineers and a contributor to the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

He previously held various operational, research, and management roles at Conoco, Amoco Production Co, and Anadarko Petroleum Corp. He also operated his own business in Australia doing drilling operations in Australia, Indonesia, Timor, and Papua New Guinea. He has been director of the Drilling and Production Institute, the Mining University of Leoben, and the Mewbourne School of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. He is co-author of the textbook, Applied Drilling Engineering.

He has a B.S. in petroleum science from Marietta College, a master's degree in petroleum engineering from University of Oklahoma and a Ph. D. in mining engineering from the Mining University of Leoben.
