Cheryl A. Cornejo and Dr. Jeffrey M. Cornejo bought a four-bedroom, four-bath home at 4814 Hazelbrook Ave. in Long Beach from Countrywide Bank for $650,000 on Feb. 20.

The Countrywide Bank foreclosed the property in Oct. 2008. The 3,006-square-foot house, which was built in 1943, is in the Lakewood Area neighborhood.

Ms. Cornejo has served as the principal of Lakewood High School in Long Beach.

Dr. Cornejo is a board of trustees member at Goodwill SOLAC. He has also served as the principal of Millikan High School.

There were 4,156 home sales in Long Beach in 2008, with a median sales price of $350,000.
