Actress Meg Ryan has listed for sale her six-bedroom, seven-bath home at 755 Stradella Rd. in Bel-Air for the asking price of $14.2 million.

Ryan paid $8.5 million for the 6,877-square-foot home in Oct. 2000. New York attorney Marc L. Bailin appears as the trustee on the deed.

David Offer of Prudential California Realty is the listing agent for the property.

Ryan, 47, is one of the best-known actresses in Hollywood with three Golden Globe nominations and a film career that dates back to the mid 1980s. Best known for her roles Sleepless in Seattle, When Harry Met Sally and You've Got Mail, Ryan picked up Golden Globe nods for Best Performance by an Actress in a Comedy/Musical in each of the wildly popular romantic comedies.

Other Ryan hits include Courage Under Fire, French Kiss, When a Man Loves a Woman and City of Angels. She also appeared in The Doors, Joe Versus the Volcano, Innerspace and Top Gun. She'll appear in the comedy Serious Moonlight later this year along with Justin Long and Timothy Hutton.

She's originally from Connecticut.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 56 home sales in Bel Air in 2008, with a median sales price of $2 million.
